How to remove cartilidge piercing (loop with ball in middle)?
I need to know an easy way to remove this piercing without going to my piercer. No i dont have needle headed pliers and no usable scissors to stick in between the piercing. Help? And no, i will not cut off my ear
The jewelry is called a CBR (Captive Ball/Bead Ring). Since visiting the piercing studio is not realistic every time you need to change you jewelry, it's good to know how to change them on your own. Although, if you plan to change your jewelry often, I would suggest investing in a pair of ring opening pliers and ring closing pliers. Needle-nosed pliers may work but they can ruin your jewelry or cause you to hurt yourself.
The bead/ball has indentions on each side and can usually be removed by holding onto the ring and pulling the ball out. It may be difficult at first but just requires practice.
